BENJAMIN MCKENZIE JOINS ‘LAPD’
‘The OC’ star Benjamin McKenzie has joined the cast of the pilot episode of a new police drama called ‘LAPD’. The Hollywood Reporter says that McKenzie will play a reserved rookie police officer in the drama.
Among the other actors cast in ‘LAPD’ are ‘24′ star Regina King, ‘Shark’ star Kevin Alejandro and Michael Cudlitz, whose credits include ‘Lost’, ‘Bones’ and ‘Prison Break’.
The drama is being made by John Wells Productions, one of the companies behind ‘ER’.

I think the show has a lot of promise and I look forward to it. It doesn’t have to be a new idea to be a good show, it just has to be well written, well acted and nicely produced.

John Wells also produced ER, West Wing and Third Watch and the team behind this won a lot of Emmys so hopefully it will be a good show.
